Loraine Stanback of Caribbean International Shipping & Moving to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

HOUSTON, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, January 16, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- When disaster strikes, churches, schools and humanitarians spring into action to deliver food and supplies to those in desperate need.

Loraine Stanback is the owner and CEO of Caribbean International Shipping & Moving, a full-service residential and commercial shipping company that also specializes in humanitarian aid.

Caribbean International Shipping & Moving is like a smaller UPS and FedEx without the cost, because the company sends bulk shipments to specific destinations. Most of these shipments comprise non-perishable food items, household goods, clothing, school supplies to family members, friends, schools, churches in the Caribbean islands and throughout the world.

This year Caribbean International Shipping & Moving has attracted more churches and nonprofit organizations as clients. Caribbean International Shipping & Moving is able to send individual shipments to designated groups need-based regions the hurricane ravaged Caribbean Islands and remote areas of India.

“We can get all the supplies to where they need to go to help the underprivileged and under-served in any country and help people who are less fortunate than ourselves,” says Loraine.

In the wake of the devastating hurricanes that struck Houston, Florida and the Caribbean, Caribbean International Shipping & Moving has been inundated supporting those in the Caribbean islands. In response, Caribbean International has created Stanback and Listen, Inc.: the non-profit branch for Caribbean International.

“We will be able to charge minimal to no fees for churches, schools and families that are displaced and provide our services to a greater population,” says Loraine. “It's really ground-level for us. When Erica hit in 2015, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. We can alleviate some of the costs on our end and pass them along to those donating.”

“It may be your town that is next hit by a tornado or a flood or fire that you want to help out. After the Red Cross and FEMA leave, we're still here to be able to provide long-term services.”

Loraine’s goal for Caribbean International is to be the go-to for any shipper throughout the world.

“We want to be global in our personal, caring services in the time of need when it's desperation and disaster. They know that they can trust us with their shipments, that they're going to get premier service that comes from a personal relationship,” says Loraine. “It's very personal sending your mother food because where she lives she's not able to acquire food on her own. I want them to know that it is a personal relationship.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Loraine Stanback in an interview with Jim Masters on January 18th at 2pm EST and with Doug Llewelyn on January 25th at 2pm EST.
